Joshua Maddison was born in Laguna Hills, California and currently resides in Whittier, California. He is a gifted artist who also has autism and is determined to live without limitations by sharing his gift, reaching out to others, and spreading the joy that his unique take on life has given him.
Joshua has an infectious smile and quirky sense of humor which is reflected in his pieces that depict characters created by him that seem to almost come to life and tell the viewer a story without even a word set to page. He also has a very serious, studious side that is readily seen in his work depicting images of nature, famous architectural designs and his own creatively designed buildings, locations, and images. Joshua's intuitive use of both sharp angles and rounded curves give his work a fantasy-like voice that takes the viewer to a place of the artist's creation and presents a moment of time in a world more grand than previously known.
True to his Orange County roots, Joshua is a talented swimmer and water polo player. He enriches the lives of others by serving in various capacities at Hope Community Church in Pico Rivera, California. He continues to study his craft at the Art With Sara studio in Whittier. Joshua has one pet, a german shepherd dog named Candace.
